SWIM LESSONS GREENWOOD
BUILDING CONFIDENCE…SAVING LIVES
At the YMCA, we believe the ability to swim is a critical life skill that everyone at any age or ability should have the opportunity to learn. When you learn to swim, you gain confidence and acquire the water safety skills needed to enjoy activities in and around water!
CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL AGES, LEVELS & ABILITIES
- Parent-Tot: 6 – 24 months accompanied by an adult
- Preschool: 2 – 5 years
- School Age: 6 – 12 years
- Teen-Adult: 13 years & up
- Gator Academy: 4 – 12 years (level 6 advanced swim lessons)
- Special Needs Adaptive Lessons: 2 years & up
- Private Lessons: 5 years & up
The YMCA reserves the right to cancel classes due to less than minimum registration. (must have 2 participants to hold a class) Cancellation decisions will be made the day prior to the start of class. Attempts will be made to reach those registering by phone and email to inform them of cancellation. Should the YMCA need to cancel a class, a full refund or credit will be issued to those registered for the program. If a class is cancelled due to weather conditions, the Y will make up the cancelled class.
Program participants register for classes on specific dates and times. Unless the YMCA cancels a class, and provides for a makeup, attendance in scheduled classes is the responsibility of the participant. We cannot provide makeup classes or allow the participant to attend a different class.
